Hells to the yes!! Just like with Hunting Party, this book was richly atmospheric, and I felt as if I was there on that remote island off the coast of Ireland, feeling the stiff breeze and hearing the roar of the water below the cliff edge. Overall I really enjoyed this book.

Cara and Shane truly love each other; a match made about as good as it gets. My only fault with this book is that there was almost too much happening to be believable, especially the bombshell at the end. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. Instead of a mystery construct this one is done as a thriller. I did enjoy it however - it was interesting and well written.

A hard to put down book. The story, as it should, grabs more and more as you turn the pages. I imagine this would be normal at a wedding with family and old Friends present, but it gave me a sense of unease as I read on, feeling that something horrible would happen at any minute.



The twists in the story kept me reading, and each character had their own unique personality, which kept things interesting. That seems miserable lol.What irritated me was how the author wrote the male characters. I enjoyed the number of perspectives and how much there was to be told with each perspective, making these characters much more complex then I initially thought they would be. This one delivered from page one! All of the characters in his/her own way, were fun to read about. Unlike with the Hunting party, the Guest List doesn't start off telling us which crime has been committed, so you don't really know which horrible deed took place until the very end, which I thought was a smart play on her part, otherwise this would have read almost exactly like her previous novel.

Great writing.

I quickly fell in love with Cara and Shane's relationship, as well as the other memorable characters in the novel. The Guest List review: Twists and turns as island wedding ends in murder. What could possibly go wrong? A great Summer read.

Thanks to their respective families...MUCH more was demanded, regardless of their planned, intimate, and small gathering in the Caribbean. The last 100 pages was a different story.

It isn't really - much more of a family saga.

It has a really surprise fantastic ending. This is the thriller I have been waiting for! I highly recommend this novel, and look forward to reading more of this author's work. It instead touched on very real dilemmas some couples face, such as the expectations of families as well as cultural expectations of weddings.
