It was really fun!have you been on the matterhorn? The ride shouldn’t be too overwhelming for most guests unless they struggle with dark environments or roller coasters in general. Space Mountain is very popular so the queue is designed for considerably long lines. it's very fun and very pretty. Space Mountain is actually a mild coaster, what makes it scary is that it is in pitch black. It's not a smooth ride at all. It is most definitely is a mild roller coaster. Is it scary. For all the ride weenies out there (and parents with small children) this one’s for you. After a few years of maturation, I have learned to enjoy Space Mountain although the situation with the ride being in the dark and not knowing where you are going still scares me a bit. The next trip, I told my husband I would ride it if he would just so I could say I rode it. It's a great ride.

It's really not bad at all, unless you don't like the dark. Space Mountain is the most intense of the rollercoasters at Magic Kingdom, but it's still not that bad.The scariest thing about Space Mountain is that it is in the dark, and you can't see where you are going. The queue used to be much more exciting for those who didn’t get the fast pass and had to wait in a long line. Its name changes once in a while to Hyperspace Mountain, and that's why the confusion sets in. Is Space Mountain still at Disneyland? I know it is Disney world, but is there one in disneyland as well. The darkness makes you feel like everything is a lot closer than it really is.

If you are really worried, there are POV (point of view) videos on YouTube of people who have ridden Space Mountain with the lights on.It depends on the person really. And I'm a chicken! But you just need to know, is Space Mountain scary? Please give me a good answer. But you know what, I ended up loving it even after being so scared.

This space-themed ride was intended to feel like a ride through space. Space Mountain’s ride page on Disney’s websitedetails the ride’s height requirement and recommended age groups. It’s definitely something fans have asked for!Just rode space mountain with 4 year old girl. although, if you get motion sickness, this may not be a pleasant ride since it's entirely in the dark (except for a bunch of tiny lights to be stars) so you won't be able to see where you're going or the track at all. There are no loops upside down or anything like that, and there are no huge drops...overall it is pretty mild but goes around and around, only seems scary because it is pretty dark, though not completely. you feel like you're in outer space :)It goes really fast and there are a couple drops, but the drops are not terrifyingly deep and there are no loops! Disney does an excellent job of making all their rides as accessible as possible.
