I'm not a drinker, but the only drink I will indulge in is wine and mimosas.

So yes, alcohol is the norm and usually expected, at least in my circles.I need it at mine!!! You can also substitute the soda for a pitcher of powdered drink mix and 2 liters of ginger ale. :-)I had sangria with fresh fruit. We're doing Italy, France, and Lebanon (all places I've lived/spent time/am from), and so that means wine, champagne, and arak (a horrible, really strong anise-flavored liqueur along the lines of ouzo, but worse).
